Help with a FilledTag hunt plan, the hunting map or the FilledTag app.
Reach us
Email . If it is about a plan, write from the address the plan was sent to, or include it, and say what is wrong: the pin or the page, and what you expected. A screenshot helps. We answer by email, most days the same day.
If a pin, a road or a camp in your plan looks wrong, tell us before you hunt it. Every plan includes three reworks within seven days.
The app
Getting your plans into the app
Open Plans, type the email address your plan was sent to, and tap "Email me a code". Type the six-digit code from that email and every plan sent to that address saves to the phone. No code arrived? Check the address is the one your plan email came to, look in your junk folder, and wait a minute before asking for another. You can also add one plan at a time: copy the link from your plan email and paste it under "Add a plan by its link".
No signal
Plans saved on the phone open with no signal, with every pin, the distances from where you stand and your recorded tracks. The map pictures and most map layers need signal. Save your plans before you leave service.
Recording a track
Tap Record on the map and start walking. To keep recording with the phone locked, set Location for FilledTag to "Always" in the phone's Settings. If the distance stays at zero, step into the open: the phone needs a good GPS position before a line can be drawn.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Plans and tap "Delete my account". We forget which plans belong to your address and sign it out on every phone. Plans already sent still open from the links in their emails. You can also email us and we will do it for you.
Orders and memberships
Questions about a payment, a refund or a membership: email us from the address you paid with. A member can change a card or cancel from the account page.
What a plan is
A plan is a scouting aid built from public maps and records. It is not legal advice and it does not promise an animal. You are responsible for checking land ownership, access and the regulations for your tag. See the terms and privacy pages.
