Terms for the 2026 tester season

What you get
A written hunt plan and map files built from public data for the tag, dates and limits you give us. During the 2026 tester season it is free. We may decline a request, for example when your unit is not ready or no legal plan fits your limits.
What it is not
FilledTag is a planning aid. It is not a guide or outfitting service, it does not accompany or direct you in the field, and it does not promise that you will see or take an animal. It does not track animals or use real-time animal locations.
You must check before you hunt
Public records of land ownership, roads, closures, water and season dates can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Before you hunt, you are responsible for confirming land status, access, road and area closures, fire restrictions and all regulations with the land manager and Colorado Parks and Wildlife. If a sign, fence, gate, order or regulation disagrees with the plan, the plan is wrong.
Your decisions and your safety
Hunting and backcountry travel are dangerous. You decide whether, where and how to hunt and travel, and you accept the risks of doing so, including weather, terrain, water that is not where a map shows it, and other hunters. Do not rely on the plan as your only means of navigation.
Your side of the deal
You confirm that you hold or will hold a valid license for the hunt, that the details you give us are true, and that you will answer our short after-hunt questions. Please do not pass the plan to other parties.
Paid plans and refunds
When plans are sold, payment is taken by Stripe before the plan is built. You get a full refund if your unit is not covered, if no legal plan fits your tag and limits, or if we cannot deliver the plan before the first day you told us you would be on the ground. Once a plan has been delivered it is not refundable, except where a pin in it was not on land open to public hunting on your dates. Refund terms await the owner's decision and legal review.
Liability
The plan is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, FilledTag is not liable for loss, injury, citation or damage arising from use of a plan. This section in particular awaits legal review.
