Consists primarily of varying age conifer stands with lesser amounts of oak woodlots, grassland, and wetlands. Unit bisected by West Branch of Sunrise River and borders approximately 1 mile of Typo Lake.
Management for improved conifer and oak stands as well as grassland maintenance. Wildlife observation is limited to hiking within the various cover types. Cooper's and Sharp-shinned hawks can be seen using the forested areas.
