What is Quade WMA like?

The Quade WMA has gently rolling topography with a 50-acre oak forest surrounded by grasslands and small ponds. A drainage ditch and creek bisects the wildlife area from the southeast to the northwest.

The diversity of habitat provides for good wildlife watching opportunities. Habitat management strives to conserve and enhance the existing oak forest and woodland habitats and the associated grassland/wetland complex. Winter habitat is enhanced by the addition of a small conifer stand and fruit bearing trees and shrubs.
