How do I get hunter education in North Carolina?
In North Carolina, anyone of any age needs a hunter education certificate (or a hunting heritage apprentice permit) to buy a hunting license: take the free instructor-led course of at least 6 hours, which has no minimum age, or one of the agency's approved online courses and print a temporary card.
