What is Alberta WMA like?
This WMA is a prairie/wetland complex that has several basins and some upland areas to hunt or view wildlife.
The variety of wetlands makes this an excellent birding and duck hunting location. Uncommon birds seen here include the American bittern and upland sandpiper. Limited opportunities for pheasant and deer hunting exist. Great egrets, black terns, sora rails and red-winged blackbirds use the marsh.
