What is Albion WMA like?

This WMA is located in rolling farmland with scattered larger hardwood groves. The unit contains a 300 acre restored wetland basin which historically has been an important stop-over site for migratory birds. Hardwood forest also occurs here.

Recently acquired lands should allow for a restoration of a 60 acre drained shallow lake. Management emphasis is on improving and maintaining wetlands, surrounding grasslands and hardwood forest. Birders should check this area out.
