What we promise hunters
Someone told you when you can hunt. Someone told you where you can't go. But no one showed you the way. That is the part we do, and these are the rules we hold ourselves to while we do it.
We will not send two hunters to the same ground
No two hunters are sent to the same ground on the same days. Before a plan goes out, it is checked against every other plan already sent for those dates, and a plan that would put two parties on top of each other is not sent as it is.
Hunters say that maps on phones have crowded places that used to be quiet. A plan that sends people to exact spots could make that worse. So this check is part of how a plan is built, not something added later.
Your spots stay yours
- One hunter's pins, tracks and sightings never go into another hunter's plan.
- We do not publish where anyone's plan sends them.
- Plans are built from public maps and records only: no animal locations, cameras, collars or live data. This is our fair chase commitment.
A line on a map is not a fence
Property lines on every hunting map, ours included, come from county records, and county records vary. A drawn line can be a few feet from the true one in one county and much further off in the next.
- We say so on the map, on every plan and on this page.
- Every pin and route in a plan is checked against land ownership records, and anything that is not public is dropped.
- Each plan lists what was checked and what nobody checked, so you know what to confirm yourself.
- When the ground and the map disagree, stay out.
The land lines still show with no signal
Most hunting country has no signal, and that is when you most need to know whose land you are on.
- Save an area on the hunting map and it keeps the topo map, the aerial photo and the land ownership colours, and with them the unit lines, the parcel lines and the owner on each county record.
- Tap a spot with no signal and it still names the unit and the owner, from the copy kept on the day you saved.
- A plan page, its map and its seat pictures stay on your phone once opened.
- We ask you to test it: put the phone in airplane mode at home and see for yourself what is there.
One price, paid once
- A hunt plan is one payment. There is no trial that turns into a charge.
- If no legal plan fits your tag and your limits, you get a full refund. The refund policy is one paragraph.
- Three reworks are included in the seven days after delivery: new dates, a different camp, a shorter walk.
- The hunting map is free and opens with no account. Nothing on it interrupts you to ask for money.
Your places leave with you
- Everything you mark on the map can be saved out as a GPX or KML file and opened in any other map app.
- Pins, routes and tracks from another app come in the same way, with their names and colours.
- Every plan comes with its own GPX and KML files.
We tell you what we do not know
- We do not promise an animal. A plan is a legal, specific place to park, camp and sit, built for your tag and your limits.
- This is our first season. What hunters tell us after their hunts, good and bad, is what the next plans are built on.
- If we cannot find a legal plan that fits your limits, we say so. We do not loosen the rules to fill the page.
