Unit 201 covers about 240 square miles in Moffat County.

In 2024, an estimated 205 elk hunters hunted Game Management Unit 201 across all seasons and took 108 elk, a success rate of 53%. The statewide rate that year was 20%.

That is 18 more hunters than 2023, when success was 51%.
