Unit 37 covers about 528 square miles in Summit and Grand counties.

In 2024, an estimated 338 deer hunters hunted Game Management Unit 37 across all seasons and took 112 deer, a success rate of 33%. The statewide rate that year was 43%.

That is 294 fewer hunters than 2023, when success was 21%.

2nd rifle was the busiest rifle season, with 123 hunters, about 23 for every 100 square miles of the unit.

3rd rifle had the highest rifle success at 56%.
