Unit 41 covers about 328 square miles in Mesa and Delta counties.

In 2024, an estimated 579 deer hunters hunted Game Management Unit 41 across all seasons and took 288 deer, a success rate of 50%. The statewide rate that year was 43%.

That is 27 fewer hunters than 2023, when success was 39%.

2nd rifle was the busiest rifle season, with 255 hunters, about 78 for every 100 square miles of the unit.

4th rifle had the highest rifle success at 94%.

Among the 138 units with at least 100 rifle deer hunters, unit 41 ranked 33 for rifle success and 111 for fewest rifle hunters per square mile.
