Unit 24 covers about 439 square miles in Rio Blanco and Garfield counties.

In 2024, an estimated 309 deer hunters hunted Game Management Unit 24 across all seasons and took 51 deer, a success rate of 17%. The statewide rate that year was 43%.

That is 29 more hunters than 2023, when success was 14%.

2nd rifle was the busiest rifle season, with 102 hunters, about 23 for every 100 square miles of the unit.
