Unit 25 covers about 232 square miles in Garfield and Eagle counties.

In 2024, an estimated 1,398 deer hunters hunted Game Management Unit 25 across all seasons and took 415 deer, a success rate of 30%. The statewide rate that year was 43%.

That is 443 more hunters than 2023, when success was 32%.

2nd rifle was the busiest rifle season, with 599 hunters, about 258 for every 100 square miles of the unit.

4th rifle had the highest rifle success at 45%.

Among the 138 units with at least 100 rifle deer hunters, unit 25 ranked 114 for rifle success and 138 for fewest rifle hunters per square mile.
