In CPW's 2026 primary deer draw, 39 deer hunt codes drew out at 3 preference points for residents, 1,940 licenses in all, and 28 drew out at 3 preference points for nonresidents. A resident who listed one of them first with 3 points drew it in the 8 codes where every 3-point applicant drew, and some did in the rest. Residents with fewer points drew 842 other codes outright or at lower levels.
