Unit 58 covers about 872 square miles in Fremont and Park counties.

In 2024, an estimated 906 elk hunters hunted Game Management Unit 58 across all seasons and took 288 elk, a success rate of 32%. The statewide rate that year was 20%.

That is 70 more hunters than 2023, when success was 25%.
